Rona Ambrose, Member of Parliament
Interim Conservative Party of Canada leader Rona Ambrose has announced that she will give up her seat as MP when this session of Parliament ends. A new party leader will also be elected later this month. Ambrose has had many roles as a Member of Parliament for Edmonton—Spruce Grove and Sturgeon River—Parkland, including Environment Minister, Western Economic Diversification and Intergovernmental Affairs, Minister of Labour and Minister of Public Works and Government Services, Minister responsible for the Status of Women, Minister of Health, and Leader of the Opposition.
